AOL Mail provides web-based email services. This service is directly competing with Google’s Gmail. It offers free registration and allows users to create their own domains.
This tutorial will show you how to sign up for AOL Mail. It also shows you how to change your password, and how you can access an account you have lost.
Create AOL Email Account
These steps will help you open an AOL Mail account.
Go to the AOL mail page.
You will see a login panel to the right side of your screen.
Select the option ” Register an account”
You will need to enter your first and last names, as well as an email address. If you choose, you can also select a domain.
Please fill in the following boxes: a password and a number.
Please enter your birth date and gender.
Click on to continue.
Sign up to AOL Mail
These instructions will show you how to sign into AOL Mail
Go to the AOL mail page.
You will see a panel to the right of your screen.
Please fill in the following box with your email.
Click the “Next” button.
Enter your password and click ” Login“.
Download AOL Email
AOL Mail offers a version that can be used on smart mobile devices. This is how to download and install the application
Go to the app store on your mobile.
In the search box, type “AOL Mail”
Choose the first option.
Click on the box ” Download “
Wait for the download process to complete.
Go back to your phone’s app store for installation instructions.
Re-select the AOL Mail App.
Select the ” Installation” option.

Sign out to AOL Mail
The following steps will allow you to log in and out.
Go to the top right panel.
There are many options.
Click the last option to see ” Exit“.
Your AOL Mail account will be closed.
How to change your password in AOL Mail
Follow these instructions to change your AOL mail password:
Register for your email account.
Look to the right for the “Settings” panel.
Next, click on “Accounts”.
Click on the ” Modify AOL password” option.
To change your password, you’ll need to answer security questions.
Enter your email address and click “Next”.
Enter your date of birth, gender, and the zip code for your country.
Answer the secret question, then click “Submit”.
Please enter the email again.
Enter twice in the boxes below.
Click ” Send“
Your new AOL password will be added to your profile.
Retrieve AOL Mail Account
You can reset your AOL password by following these steps:
Visit the AOL Mail Sign in Helper.
Select the account recovery option that is available.
Continue clicking
Follow these instructions to change your password and retrieve your AOL mail account.
A second method is
Log in to AOL.
Next, enter your username. Click the “Login” button.
Select the ” Forgot your password” option.
Enter your username and click “Next”.
When you signed up, enter the telephone number.
You will be given several instructions. Click on ” Next “.
You have the option to receive a text message, or a phone call.
You will receive a code.
It can be used in the AOL box. Press ” Verify “.
Enter your new password
Click on ” Save” to close the window.
